Gold Award Committee - As a Gold Award Committee Member, you’ll help Girl Scout Seniors (grades 9–10) and Ambassadors (grades 11–12) work toward the Girl Scout Gold Award—the highest award a Girl Scout can earn! You’ll review their project ideas and final reports, then meet with them (usually once a month) to talk through their goals and give feedback. Sometimes you’ll help them brainstorm, solve problems, or give encouragement. Your goal is to help every girl succeed and feel supported!

Gold Award Mentor - As a Gold Award Mentor, you’ll support Girl Scout Seniors (grades 9–10) and Ambassadors (grades 11–12) as they work on the Girl Scout Gold Award—the highest award in Girl Scouting! Once a girl’s project is approved, you’ll be matched with her to provide support, answer questions, and help her stay on track. You’ll check in regularly and even see her project in action at least once. Your role is to encourage, guide, and cheer her on all the way to the finish line!

Outdoor & Girl Program Volunteers
Program Facilitators who teach skills to Girl Scouts
Archery Facilitator - As an Archery Program Facilitator (Level I), you’ll teach basic archery skills to Girl Scouts during special “Hit the Target” programs. You’ll help girls learn how to shoot safely, cheer them on, and make sure everyone has fun at camp! You’ll be certified by USA Archery and work with girls who may be trying archery for the very first time.

Business of Babysitting - As a Business of Babysitting Program Facilitator, you’ll lead a 2-day program that teaches Girl Scout Cadettes (grades 6–8) how to babysit safely and responsibly. You’ll help them learn how to care for children, earn parts of their Babysitting and First Aid badges, and become certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Red Cross. You’ll use approved materials from GSNEO and the Red Cross to make sure the experience is safe, fun, and helpful!

Troop and Service Unit Volunteers
Girl Scout Troop Volunteer - Girl Scout troops run more smoothly when everyone lends a hand. You can lead a troop, help plan badge and journey work and other activities, drive and volunteer on field trips, manage the finances, coordinate the product sales, keep the paperwork in order, or lend a hand at troop meetings.
Service Unit Volunteer - The service team is a group of committed, focused, and passionate volunteers who fulfill their roles to the best of their abilities. Service unit teams oversee and manage troops within a set geographic area, typically by school districts.
Product Program Volunteers
Troop Product Program Manager Volunteer - Troop Product Program Volunteers assist with their Girl Scout troop by helping scouts gain business skills essential for success, both now and later, including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. They also coordinate the troop’s sales materials, order placement, product inventory, and scout rewards for the product program(s).
