Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Cadette Summit! This weekend-long program just for Cadettes is a unique experience where participants pick activities they are interested in. It is also a time for Girl Scouts to hang out with friends, develop new friendships, and fosters independence. Cadette Summit hosts 250 campers and requires a lot of volunteer support, we encourage you to look through the different roles and choose the volunteer option that best suits you.
Our volunteers are divided into overnight and day only. Overnight volunteers will stay the duration of Cadette Summit, May 15-17. Day-only volunteers will come in on Saturday, May 16th.
Unit Leaders: Stay in the unit with the campers.
Program Facilitators: Lead a class. Example: Indoor Cooking, Soap Making, etc.
Kitchen Helpers: Assist the head cook in preparing, serving, and cleaning up each meal.
