Camp is a beautiful, natural place and we want to keep it that way for many years to come! Unfortunately, invasive plants can take over and be detrimental to other plants and animals. Learn about invasive plants, take action, and impact camp and your home ecosystem.
Participants will be working to identify and remove invasive species from our camp.
Long pants and close-toed shoes that can be muddied are required. This program completes steps from the Daisy- Make the World a Better Place, Brownie – Bugs badge, Junior- Flowers and Garden badges. Additional activities will need to be completed to earn the complete badge.
Volunteers are needed to facilitate station activities and to lead activities in removing invasive species. Needed information about programming and content will be provided in advance of the event.
