Camp Coaches are positive, caring, responsible, adult volunteers who serve as a trusted friend and guide to girls and leaders at camp. Camp Coaches work in groups of 2-3 for the entire weekend. 

Responsibilities:

Monitor, support and assist troop/group use of GSNEO properties. Work with camp managers to perform check-in/check-out procedures for troop/groups upon their arrival and departure. Notify Property Director and/or Properties Manager of problems/emergencies. Maintain GSNEO safety and policy procedures of public areas and clear emergency lane in parking lot. Manage usage of GSNEO program equipment available for borrowing and/or rental. Complete site rounds visiting occupied sites at least once per weekend to offer mentorship, coaching and compliance with safety policies and procedures. Monitor camp phone/answering machine and deliver emergency messages to troops/groups where applicable. Remain at camp for the duration of weekend. If unable to attend scheduled weekend, secure a replacement Camp Coach and notify Volunteer Support & Services of changes. Remain up to date on camp policies and procedures.
