Ready, aim, fire! Enjoy a beginner’s course in air riflery. GSNEO has partnered with North Coast Marksmanship Club (NCMC) to teach you basics like equipment safety, gear tutorials, proper shooting techniques, and how thrilling the sport of marksmanship can be! Did you know that marksmanship is an official Olympic sport? The United States has brought home 107 medals in marksmanship since the sport began in 1896! Who knows...maybe you’ll be the next to bring home the gold? During this program, you will shoot targets using competitive air rifles and pellets. Program includes approximately 1 hour of gun safety education before beginning to shoot. Participants must be mature enough to understand and follow safety procedures and handle equipment as instructed by the CMP instructors. Program will run rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
